Movement

The fourth GMT hand points to a second time zone on the 24-hour graduated ceramic bezel, allowing you to read both home time and local time at a glance without touching the crown. Like all NH-series movements, it self-winds via the oscillating rotor during normal wear, and hacks for precise time-setting.

Case & Crystal

The 40 mm stainless steel case is secured with a screw-down crown at 5 ATM — appropriate for everyday wear and splashes. The sapphire crystal is treated with Super-LumiNova and an anti-reflective coating, keeping the dial readable in the varied lighting conditions a traveller encounters. The ceramic bezel is harder than steel and resists the scratching that would ruin a painted aluminium insert over time, which means the 24-hour markings stay crisp for years.

Dial & Design

The all-black dial keeps the visual hierarchy clean: hour, minute, and seconds hands in the foreground; the red or contrasting GMT hand drawing the eye to the bezel for the second time zone. Super-LumiNova on the dial ensures the watch is readable in a dark cabin at 35,000 feet, not just under office lights.
