TONA MOD - METEORITE

The Tona Mod Meteorite is a Seiko Mod chronograph with a meteorite-look dial: a crystalline cross-hatch modelled on the Widmanstätten structure of iron meteorites. We make the pattern, not the provenance: no meteorite material goes into this watch. You get the look, not the rock. We assemble every one by hand at MedoMods in Germany.

The Dial: Meteorite Look, Not Meteorite

The cross-hatch echoes the crystal structure that grows inside iron meteorites as they cool. Recreated, not cut. No Gibeon, no space rock, no provenance story. The pattern is the decision here, not the material.

Movement and Timing

The Seiko VK63 meca-quartz hybrid movement drives the Tona Mod: the chronograph runs mechanically, so you feel the pusher engage instead of watching a display jump. The time itself runs on quartz.

Case and Crystal

• 40 mm stainless steel case: compact enough to sit under a cuff, present enough to carry a dial like this

• Sapphire crystal: shrugs off scratches from keys and door frames

• Super-LumiNova on the indices: readable in low light

• Screw-down crown, 5 ATM water resistance: rain and splashes are no problem

• Tachymeter bezel: the classic racing scale for speed or units per hour

Bracelet

• 904L stainless steel bracelet: the same steel grade used in high-end Swiss production, adjustable from 14.5 to 22 cm, 20 mm lug width
