Movement & Chronograph

The Seiko VK63 meca-quartz hybrid movement delivers the essential chronograph experience without the maintenance overhead of a full mechanical. Pressing the pusher actuates the hand mechanically — you get the satisfying click and sweep — while a quartz oscillator keeps the running time accurate day in, day out. The continuous seconds sweep means the Tona Mod reads like a mechanical on the wrist, even if your lifestyle does not allow for regular servicing.

Case, Crystal & Bezel

• 40 mm stainless steel case – the proportions that work for the widest range of wrist sizes; not oversized, not undersized

• Sapphire crystal with Super-LumiNova indices – scratch-resistant and clear; the lume makes the white dial even more readable after dark

• Screw-down crown & 5 ATM water resistance – engineered for daily durability; the crown locks secure and stays that way

• Tachymeter bezel – original feature of the sport-chronograph genre, functionally relevant for timing speed or rate over a measured distance

Bracelet

• 904L stainless steel bracelet – adjustable from 14.5 to 22 cm, 20 mm lug width; the high-grade steel resists corrosion and holds its polish well over time
